Search Engines: Real-time Search

Phil Bradley looks at the concept of real-time search and points to some of the functionality that users can and should expect to find when exploring these engines. Ariadne, Issue 61, October 2009. "There's a lot of talk going around at the moment on the subject of 'real-time search', so I thought it might be useful to look at the concept in a little more detail, and to explore some of the search engines that say they offer it. This is by no means an attempt at a comprehensive listing, as new search engines are appearing if not daily, then certainly every week.
