Search Engine Optimisation: your questions answered

Victoria Online Seminar series held 29 July 2009.

The seminar focussed on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Presented by Remone Tawadros, from Advantate, topics covered included:

  • Search engine optimisation basics from a government perspective;
  • Ways to enhance your customers experience;
  • How best to utilise your government site.

About the Speaker:

Remone Tawadros is an online marketer who helps organisations grow through online search marketing strategies.

He joined Advantate from Melbourne IT, where his team managed web site search campaigns for more than 1500 businesses. His team consistently maintained a 94% success rate of achieving an organic ranking within the two first pages on Google. He enhanced his knowledge of the search industry by spending time in the US market, where he developed a deep understanding of the online industry, bid management tools and methodology. He has constantly helped businesses improve their performance through online marketing including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) strategies, web site performance analytics and site traffic management.

He is Google certified and a Yahoo Search Ambassador.

    The speaker obviously does not know much about seo, and is talking about general basic which arent even that relevant now. Quite a poor presentation if you ask me. I was expecting more from such a resourceful site.
