ARI Registry Services wins tender for .melbourne and .sydney domains

ARI Registry Services, Melbourne, Australia – 22 February 2012. "ARI Registry Services has been selected as the preferred respondent for the Request for Proposal for appointment of a registry operator to assist in obtaining and operating multiple generic Top-Level Domains. The Top-Level Domains (TLDs) include the .melbourne, .sydney and .victoria new TLDs.

The appointment will enable the governments of the Australian states of New South Wales and Victoria to successfully obtain and operate a valuable digital asset that will fuel exponential online branding and marketing opportunities and provide a landmark online identity for two of Australia's most recognised cities.

ARI Registry Services has engaged professional services firm Ernst & Young and digital brand management services provider Melbourne IT to assist its consultancy work in developing the application for three Top-Level Domains that adhere to ICANN's strict requirements..."
