- 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission encouraging the community to have their say
- The Victorian Government has established the Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission on 16 February 2009 to investigate the causes and responses to the bushfires which swept through parts of Victoria in late January and February 2009. The Commission will deliver an interim report by 17 August 2009 and a final report by 31 July 2010. Members of the community affected by the bushfires are being encouraged to have their say.
