The Victorian Online Gateway (VOG) is a gateway for information and services provided by or related to Government for anyone, anywhere at anytime. VOG helps deliver the vision Putting People at the Centre through leveraging technology and giving users a choice on how they want to interact with Government enabling "Services without Borders".
The VOG will permit information to be tailored to user requirements and has been structured in a way to aggregate previously disparate information, saving users time and enhancing their experience with Government.
The VOG forms a critical pillar and support mechanism for the Victorian Government's eGovernment Strategy. The VOG serves as a fundamental instrument to drive reform and improvement of the Victorian Government's service delivery for the benefit of Victorian citizens. The VOG significantly increases the equity of access to information and services provided by three levels of Government to all Victorians unlimited by physical boundaries.
The purpose of this strategic plan is to provide readers with an understanding of the Vision, the Strategy and the Governance structure of the VOG in order to allow them to better support and utilise the benefits of its implementation and operation.
