AccVerify is the download product version of Cynthia Says, with additional features such as the ability to turn some checks on and off. Reports detail guideline violations and warnings ordered by the W3C Checklist. AccVerify can test certain issues with a very high degree of accuracy; for instance whether an IMG tag contains an ALT attribute. However there are some issues where AccVerify cannot make an accurate assessment, for instance in determining whether content is clear and simple.
Pros:
Cons:
Create a new project by selecting the "New" button (1) in the bottom left corner. Name the project and choose how you will access your files. Select the Base folder and Save the project. Select the "Select" button (2) in the top left corner and choose the files you wish to test. To choose relevant accessibility checks select the "AccRules" button (3). Then select the "Verify" button (4) to run AccVerify.

Once the report is completed a summary will be displayed. The summary includes a table of contents (1) where you can access information on the specific files, information about when AccVerify was run (2), including date, time and total files passed and total files failed. In addition the total files passed and total files failed are displayed via a graph (3).

To look at the results of individual files, select the relevant file under "Passed files" or "Failed files" (1). This report is an exact replica of a Cynthia Says report with information about the report itself (2) and the table of results (3).

For an example see the Cynthia Says example.
AccVerify has a lot of in-product help.
