The scope of your annual audit will depend on how much the site has changed since it was last audited for accessibility conformance. This is dependent on several factors:
Performing an annual audit is similar to conducting testing of a current site, however if content authors have been trained properly the number of accessibility errors identified should be minor.
It is important that at the conclusion of an annual audit that all content authors meet to discuss recurring issues within the site and share knowledge. Issues identified in the current audit will be priority checkpoints for the following year.
