Swooping Magpie Map - Victoria

The Victorian Government's Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) has produced a Magpie Swoop Map using Google maps. It is updated daily with updates from "magpie victims" sent in via email, twitter, help centre phone calls, and from people passing by the office's front desk. To add a swooping location in your local area, you can send DSE a message detailing where the birds are swooping and they will add it to the map. Call: 136 186; Email: swoop.vic@dse.vic.gov.au; Twitter: Send a tweet to @dse_vic with the location details and #swoopvic; Send in your photographs of swooping birds for them to add to their Swoop Flickr gallery.
