Victoria Online - is a metadata driven portal which provides Victorian's with access to State, Local and Federal Government information and services. Since its launch, late 2003, Victoria Online has been busy refining and improving the metadata used to drive the user interface and in particularly to facilitate discovery. Emphasis has been placed on ensuring that DC.Title, DC.Subject and DC.Description are keyword dense with natural language terms identified as a result of search term analysis. This aids in improving relevancy of search results by ensuring that the most relevant records are returned based on the most used search terms.
