Launch of the Malta and Gozo e-Tourism Portal: ePractice.eu, 21 March 2007 - Malta - eGovernment Services for Citizens / Pan-European Service. "The Malta Tourism Authority, in conjunction with the Ministry for Tourism and Culture, launched the national e-tourism portal on 19 January 2007. This portal was specifically designed to serve as an additional medium to promote independent traffic towards Malta. The e-Tourism portal replaced the highly successful website www.visitmalta.com which, over the last years, has achieved a consistent level of around 11 000 visitors daily..."

Malta to launch new children allowances eGovernment Service: ePractice.eu, 21 February 2007 - Malta - eGovernment Services for Citizens. "The Government of Malta, through the Ministry for Investment, Industry and Information Technology (MIIIT) and the Ministry for Family and Social Solidarity (MFSS), is about to launch a new eGovernment service that allows citizens to directly submit applications for Children's and Supplementary Allowance benefits. This service will reach 29.000 Children's Allowance beneficiaries and 27,000 Supplementary Allowance beneficiaries..."
