Sensors are implanted in a cow's ear. They measure vital signs of the cattle. Using combinations of the vital signs measured, a farmer can make multiple separate diagnoses of cattle health and activity.
All the collected information is transmitted wirelessly to a server. The data is then used by the farmer to determine the health of individual cows as well as the herd. Much is also learned about fluctuations in diet, a cow's response to environmental factors, and herd behaviour..."
