Electoral Commissioner'-- The Australian Federal Court ruled on August 14, 2010 that the Australian Electoral Commission must now accept faxed enrolments using digital signatures. The case was brought by GetUp who through their OzEnrol website demonstrated that they could use a specially built signature tool to provide a digital signaure on the AEC enrolment form which was then automatically faxed to the Commission.
